Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information PourMe collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. PourMe is operated by CSW Ventures LLC ("PourMe," "we," "us").
The short version. PourMe collects the account details and whiskey data you enter, and nothing you would not expect from a collection-tracking app. There are no ads and no advertising partners. We do not use advertising identifiers and we do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your data — not to distilleries, not to retailers, not to anyone. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information. PourMe uses Sign in with Apple, and that is the only way to create an account. We receive your name and email address — or Apple's private relay address, if you choose to hide your email — and a unique account identifier.
- Content and collection data. Bottles you add, reviews, scores, tasting notes, photos, blind tasting flights, blend recipes, wishlist items, fill levels, purchase prices, and the stores where you bought bottles.
- Communications. Messages you send us, including support requests and content reports.
Information collected automatically
- Approximate location, only if you allow it. PourMe asks for your device's location permission, and uses it for one feature: Finds. We request approximate location only — not your precise coordinates. If you decline, the rest of the app works normally, and you can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services on your device.
What PourMe does not collect. Many apps in this category collect the following. PourMe does not:
- No advertising identifiers. We never read Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
- No App Tracking Transparency prompt, because we have nothing to ask for. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- No advertising SDK and no ad network of any kind.
- No third-party analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDK. We do not log which screens you view or which features you use.
2. How we use information
- To operate your account and the app's features.
- To display community content, including reviews you choose to make public.
- To respond to your support requests and to review reported content.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to create data or insight products for anyone else.
3. Who we share it with
Our hosting provider
PourMe runs on Google Firebase, operated by Google LLC, which stores and processes data on our behalf as our service provider — not for its own purposes.
Nobody else
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We have no advertising partners. We do not sell, license, or otherwise provide your data to whiskey producers, distilleries, retailers, or their agents.
Other disclosures
We may disclose information to comply with law or valid legal process, to protect the rights, safety, or property of PourMe, our users, or the public, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
4. Public content
You control the visibility of your reviews when you post them. A review you mark public appears in the community feed with your profile name and can be read by any signed-in PourMe user. Photos attached to a public review are public along with it.
Purchase prices are private by default and are visible to others only if you choose to share them. Wishlists are private by default.
5. Your rights and choices
- Delete your account. You can delete your account and its contents from inside the app at Settings → Delete Account. This removes your data from our servers and is permanent.
- Control visibility. Review, price, and wishlist visibility are all adjustable in Settings.
- Turn off location. Revoke the location permission in your device settings at any time.
- Access or correct your information. Most of it is editable directly in the app. For anything else, email contact@pourmellc.com.
There is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control in PourMe, because we do not sell or share your personal information and so there is nothing to opt out of.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We collect the categories of personal information described in section 1: identifiers (account identifier, name, email), your own content and commercial information (collection, reviews, purchase prices), photos, and — if you grant permission — geolocation. We collect them for the purposes in section 2, and we disclose them only to Google as the service provider described in section 3.
In the past 12 months, PourMe has not sold or shared personal information, and has not disclosed personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
You have the right to know what we collect and disclose, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Submit requests by emailing contact@pourmellc.com. You may use an authorized agent; we will verify your identity before acting on a request.
6. Data retention
We retain your account information and content while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to stored data is restricted by server-side security rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Age
PourMe is intended for people of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (21+ in the United States). It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the legal drinking age. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
9. Where PourMe is available
PourMe is not offered in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and this policy does not describe rights under the EU or UK GDPR.
